Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response for enterprise clients
- Conduct advanced threat hunting using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR tools
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure
- Develop and implement zero-trust security frameworks and cloud security architectures
- Mentor junior analysts and create security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with FBI-certified incident response teams during major breach investigations
- Present executive-level security briefings to CISOs and board members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE) required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Advanced knowledge of NIST frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
