Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python
- Lead API development and integration with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and enforce DevOps best practices
- Document technical specifications and contribute to architecture decisions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or JavaScript (TypeScript preferred)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack project ownership
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week with flexible scheduling
