Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to network hardware and software systems.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security protocols and firewalls.
- Conduct cable management and physical infrastructure inspections.
- Provide technical support to internal staff regarding network connectivity issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site infrastructure work.
