Responsibilities
- Development: Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for our enterprise clients, ensuring robust performance and scalability.
- Code Maintenance: Review, debug, and refactor existing codebases during weekend maintenance windows to prevent system downtime.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams of product managers, QA engineers, and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Testing: Execute comprehensive unit and integration tests to verify software functionality and security protocols.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement timely fixes to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with modern development frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
