Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and CloudWatch to ensure 99.99% uptime
- Execute security hardening, patch management, and compliance audits following NIST/CIS frameworks
- Automate infrastructure tasks using Python/Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
- Manage AWS/Azure environments including EC2, S3, VPC, and hybrid cloud architectures
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response coordination
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise system administration in cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure automation tools (Ansible/Terraform)
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certification required
- In-depth knowledge of AWS/Azure services and multi-cloud deployment strategies
- Proven experience implementing security best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with complex cross-platform issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
