Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java/Python
- Lead implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure DoD-compliant systems
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and DevOps best practices
- Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks
- AWS/GCP certification or proven cloud architecture experience
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain immediately
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
