Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-throughput payment processing systems using Java/Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements with Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Design RESTful APIs with OAuth 2.0 and JWT security
- Troubleshoot production issues using Datadog and Grafana
- Drive DevOps best practices including IaC with Terraform
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Java/Python
- Expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures
- Strong grasp of microservices design patterns and event-driven systems
- Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with fintech compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience mentoring technical teams
