Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security loopholes.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate with incident response teams to minimize damage.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards compliant with industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Analyze security alerts and logs to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network architecture and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
