Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures and firewalls.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Develop and execute security policies and compliance frameworks to meet industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and evolving defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Proven experience in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
