Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events 24/7 during weekend shifts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct real-time threat detection, analysis, and incident response to mitigate active breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend schedules.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Document security incidents, maintain audit trails, and generate compliance reports.
- Collaborate with the on-weekend team to patch critical vulnerabilities and harden network defenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Network Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with incident response and forensics.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday 6 PM - Monday 6 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
