Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures using firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust frameworks
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Monitor SIEM platforms and correlate security events using Splunk/QRadar
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous security improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and threat mitigation
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security tools (Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure GCP) and containerized environments
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex threats to technical/non-technical audiences
