Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Enforce compliance with internal security policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Document security events, incidents, and audit findings accurately.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
