Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead weekend sprints for critical payment processing modules
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for weekend deployment windows
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous weekend releases
- Troubleshoot production issues with rapid resolution SLAs
- Document technical architecture and API specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, and distributed systems
- Proven experience with AWS/GCP cloud services
- Familiarity with fintech compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Strong background in event-driven architecture
- Experience leading weekend on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
