Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualized infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking configurations
- Execute security protocols, patch management, and compliance audits
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backups/restores
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migrations and automation projects
- Document procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019) and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices (SOX/HIPPIE)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
