Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux).
- Implement and monitor complex security protocols and firewall configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-level hardware and network connectivity issues.
- Lead critical system migrations and upgrades with zero downtime.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and access control.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize application performance and deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
