Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud integrations
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell/Python for routine tasks
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery plans
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux distributions
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent required
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Proven track record in managing Active Directory environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
