Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments (200+ systems)
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Implement disaster recovery protocols and backup solutions
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds
- Coordinate with security team for vulnerability patching
- Document SOPs and create technical runbooks
- Provide tier-3 support for complex system outages
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of VMware/Hyper-V virtualization
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services
- Proven incident management (ITIL v4 preferred)
- Ability to work flexible on-call rotation
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
