Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and disaster recovery planning with RTO/RPO compliance
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Document SOPs and technical architecture for complex IT environments
- Lead infrastructure upgrades including OS migrations and virtualization projects
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical incidents during on-call rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Certifications: MCSE, RHCSA, or equivalent required
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proven track record in incident management and root cause analysis
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
