Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments (CentOS/RHEL)
- Implement and monitor network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and incident response
- Optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Document SOPs and create automation scripts using PowerShell/Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and load balancing
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent AWS/Azure certification
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Ability to work on-call rotation and handle high-pressure situations
- Strong troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis experience
