Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements
- Optimize system performance and resolve complex production issues
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
- Contribute to DevOps automation using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning ceremonies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js/Python
- Expertise in distributed systems and RESTful API design
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
