Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for our elite 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). This is an urgent hire position designed for a vigilant defender who thrives in high-stakes environments. We provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates relocating to New York, NY, or North Carolina.
In this role, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats, monitoring networks around the clock and responding to critical incidents. We are looking for a self-starter who can lead the night shift team and ensure operational excellence when the rest of the world sleeps.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) during night shifts.
- Perform real-time threat hunting and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead incident response workflows and communicate with stakeholders during outages.
- Conduct log analysis and anomaly detection to identify potential intrusions.
- Collaborate with the red/blue team to refine defense strategies and threat intelligence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all security events and incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SOC, GRC, or Incident Response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience working in Night Shift or 24/7 operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to relocate to New York, NY or North Carolina with provided assistance.
