Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response across cloud/on-premise environments
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security monitoring protocols using SIEM tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Generate executive-level security threat intelligence reports
- Drive security awareness training across the organization
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Certifications required: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
