We're urgently seeking a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team with remote options available. This Houston-based role (with California opportunities) requires you to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and optimize operations through advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical tools to identify trends and opportunities
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Develop automated reporting systems to monitor KPIs and performance metrics
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to support product improvements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement data pipeline enhancements
- Present findings to leadership through clear visualizations and actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with proven portfolio
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and ETL processes
- Excellent communication skills translating technical insights to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision
