Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to mitigate threats and minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular security drills for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC (CNSS 4011) is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of encryption standards and data protection laws.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
