Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/AWS environments
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead breach mitigation efforts
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA security standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Document security protocols and prepare executive-level threat briefings
- Research emerging attack vectors and propose countermeasures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat hunting
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of zero-trust and SASE frameworks
- Experience with SIEM implementation and threat correlation
