Responsibilities
- Implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-premise systems
- Lead incident response for security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for enterprise environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on threat hunting
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (CISM preferred)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Proven track record in security incident response documentation
- Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent military experience
