Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct 24/7 security incident response and threat hunting operations
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC/NOC experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container security
- Valid US government security clearance preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations
