Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop and implement security monitoring solutions using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation for security breaches
- Create and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, architecture diagrams)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform risk assessments and compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior team members on advanced threat detection techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and identity management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
