Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust network security frameworks (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Lead incident response for security breaches and conduct forensic investigations
- Manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and optimize threat detection workflows
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid environments
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven experience in threat detection and incident response
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of security protocols: TLS, PKI, SAML, OAuth
- Experience with security automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting)
