Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Create comprehensive security documentation and incident response plans
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous threat hunting
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (IDS/IPS, firewalls, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and protocols
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
