Responsibilities
- Design and implement network security architectures for financial institutions
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud infrastructure
- Manage SIEM platforms and respond to security incidents within 4-hour SLA
- Develop zero-trust security frameworks for hybrid work environments
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing initiatives
- Automate security workflows using Python and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers on emerging threats (ransomware, supply chain attacks)
Qualifications
- CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- 5+ years experience in network security/cloud environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and NIST frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience with FISMA compliance and FedRAMP protocols
- Strong background in incident response and threat hunting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
