Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, network traffic, and system logs during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Implement and maintain intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security frameworks
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and malware analysis
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation
