Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of on-premise and cloud-based servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patches, and security audits to protect sensitive data and network integrity.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues to minimize downtime for the organization.
- Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity.
- User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to internal staff, troubleshooting software and hardware problems efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation regarding system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Operating Systems: Proficient in both Windows Server environments and Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and network security protocols.
- Cloud Skills: Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Ability to write and debug scripts in PowerShell or Bash to automate administrative tasks.
