Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions to protect sensitive data.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring optimal performance across the organization.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and hardware upgrades.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IP networking.
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
