Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux).
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network hardware, firewalls, and switches.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including antivirus updates and access control measures.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and data integrity checks.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal departments.
- Document system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware and software procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server Administration and Linux environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
