As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliability of our servers and networks. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about automation and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Linux and Windows Server).
- Monitor system performance, health, and security alerts to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using scripting languages.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
- Perform routine hardware upgrades, software patching, and system backups.
- Document all system configurations, changes, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
