Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and implement proactive solutions
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and ensure data backup/recovery protocols
- Implement and maintain security best practices including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and system integrations
- Document system configurations, procedures, and create technical documentation
- Provide user support and training for system-related technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network security
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, Linux+, or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
