Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server environments (Windows & Linux).
- Monitor system performance, health, and security to prevent downtime and vulnerabilities.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and permissions with a focus on security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues and resolve technical support tickets efficiently.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory (AD).
- Experience with Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS) and command-line interfaces.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
