Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex server infrastructure across Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and VMware environments.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and secure network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Provide Tier 2+ technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux distributions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
