Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including on-premise servers, storage arrays, and networking hardware.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics; proactively troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage and secure Active Directory environments, user accounts, and group policies to ensure efficient access control.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to fortify network security against threats.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployments using scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and verify successful system migrations and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Cisco CCNA.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
