The Role:
As a System Administrator, you will act as the first line of defense for our network, ensuring security and performance across all platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new solutions and optimize existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and Linux distributions.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and assets.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal employees regarding hardware and software issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and technical support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (preferred).
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to lift and carry server hardware weighing up to 50 lbs.
