Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and end-point protection.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless deployments, resolving connectivity issues efficiently.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and data integrity audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions that drive business growth.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and Identity Management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar cybersecurity certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Denver metro area as needed.
