Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will involve a mix of strategic planning and hands-on technical work:
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and manage Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy objects (GPO).
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and system upgrades.
- Provide Level 3 technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong technical foundation:
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or CCNA are a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel to client sites within the Colorado Springs area.
