Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of on-premise and cloud-based server environments to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Automation & Scripting: Leverage Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine administrative tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce human error.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, VPN configurations, and firewall settings for internal and remote teams.
- Storage & Backup: Design and execute reliable data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical business assets.
- User Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless productivity across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services is highly preferred.
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar credentials.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
