Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Perform system backups, disaster recovery testing, and proactive maintenance
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and optimize system performance
- Document IT procedures and provide technical support to 50+ employees
- Collaborate with network engineers on cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure models
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
