Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, patch management, and backup/recovery systems
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues with minimal downtime
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with IT policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
