Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network services
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology initiatives
- Document procedures and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux/Unix systems
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and enterprise backup solutions
- Scripting skills for automation and task management
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
