Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and Go
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party payment gateways
- Optimize database queries and ensure system scalability for 10K+ concurrent users
- Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct peer code reviews
- Monitor production systems and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Go
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments
