Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software patches and features specifically for the weekend release cycle.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical bugs in real-time to ensure zero downtime for end-users.
- Collaborate with the Weekday Engineering team to align on architectural changes and rollback strategies.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain documentation for legacy systems and new modules.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards during maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during non-standard business hours.
