Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Perform essential patching, updates, and database maintenance during off-peak hours to ensure system stability.
- Development & Deployment: Design, code, and deploy new features and bug fixes for our web and mobile applications.
- Monitoring & Support: Proactively monitor system logs, performance metrics, and alerts to resolve issues before they impact users.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Team and QA Engineers to define requirements and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL and database management principles.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of the standard shift rotation.
